Track 02: Nursing Education & their Innovation
Nurse education consists of the theoretical and practical training provided to nurses with the purpose to prepare them for their duties as nursing care professionals. This education is provided to nursing students by experienced nurses and other medical professionals who have qualified or experienced for educational tasks. Most countries offer nurse education courses that can be relevant to general nursing or to specialized areas including mental health nursing, pediatric nursing and post-operatory nursing. The Trauma care focus on care delivered at fixed facilities like clinics and hospitals in which unlike most emergency room patients, the trauma patients require highly specialized care, including surgery and blood transfusions. Prehospital emergency care systems address prehospital trauma care at the scene and in route to fixed facilities. Disasters have been integral parts of the human experience since Nursing the beginning of time, causing premature death, impaired quality of life, and altered health status. The risk of a disaster is ubiquitous. On average, one disaster per week that requires international assistance occurs somewhere in the world. The recent dramatic increase in natural disasters, their intensity, the number of people affected by them, and the human and economic losses associated with these events have placed an imperative on disaster planning for emergency preparedness. Global warming shifts in climates, sea-level rise, and societal factors may coalesce to create future calamities. Finally, war, acts of aggression, and the incidence of terrorist attacks are reminder of the potentially deadly consequences of man’s inhumanity toward man.
